Overview
Facade identification, pylons, monoliths, cladding and site signage where structural loading, foundations and authority approval govern the build.
Once a sign leaves eye level it stops being a graphic and becomes a structure. Facade letters at height, pylons on their own foundations and rooftop identification all carry wind loading that has to be calculated, documented and approved before anything is fabricated.
We plan these projects backwards from the approval and access requirements — what documentation the authority needs, how the sign will be reached for installation and for future maintenance, and what corrosion protection the exposure demands.
Documentation
Depending on the sign type, height and site conditions, the package may include foundation design, anchoring details, soil-test information and wind-load calculations. Engineering certification is provided through approved specialist consultants where a project requires it.
Access note
High-rise, rooftop and rope-access work is undertaken only where the required insurance, safety certification, equipment and qualified access arrangements are confirmed for that project.
